The "Golden Phantom" was a Biesmeyer "Carribean" hull if memory serves. The boat was photographed lots, had a 348/409 Chevy for power. It appears that the bubble top is just for display, if you look at the relationship between the steering wheel and the top, you can see that there's not enough room to sit up straight and hold the wheel, with the top on.
Brian Lynch just restored one of those hulls last summer, and brought the finished boat to the Bass Lake show. I found one for sale a while back, sitting on a side street, that had and old 430 Lincoln in it. Wild!
