"Greyhound": 33' Classic 1921 Gentleman's Raceboat (Hacker Craft) from Robert Yandt Boatworks

Nyrenoverad

Ny 502 Mercruiser MPI motor

455L tank

"GREYHOUND was completed by Robert Yandt Boatworks and began its regional racing history as a Gentleman's Raceboat on beautiful Lake Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. This 33 foot beauty roared around the lake, winning a series of competitions and proving the aptness of her name. Meticulously restored to her original glory by professional boat restorer Alan Thomle (winner of multiple awards for his restorations) she is a speedy work of art. Cold molded West System processes make this Gentleman's Raceboat a craft that can be enjoyed, not just showcased. Powered by a custom modified and marinized Marine Power 330HP engine, this boat is barely breathing at 40 MPH. Features include custom African mahogany bucket seats, African mahogany grated floors, Rolls Royce replica guages, and many original deck hardware pieces. The forward cockpit has a v-berth with porta-potti. With the Hacker Craft bottom design she is comfortable at any cruising speed on smooth water or in a chop. The seller offers reasonable custom additions by Alan Thomle as part of the purchase agreement to further satisfy the buyer's desire for a truly unique and show-worthy vessel.

The restoration of GREYHOUND has just been completed, and this boat is being brought onto the market for sale. It's new owner will have the opportunity of entering her into classic yacht competitions and bringing home the trophies she deserves! "

"The restorer was able to save about 60% of the original oak frames and cypress hullsides. He then cold molded marine plywood using West System processes onto the hullsides, decks, and built an entire new bottom. The covering boards, interior, dash, seats, and sealing boards are all of ribbon-grain African Mahogany"

Da er jo denne rene røverkjøpet for $300.000.....

This exceptional motor launch, built in 1989, is powered by a 440 cubic inch V8 Chrysler engine.
"Era" is a custom replica of a 1929 Minett, built by Vic Carpenter.
She is 35 feet long, has a 7 foot beam and draws a total of 22 inches
(the hull drawing only 8 inches). The launch will reach a top speed 50 miles an hour.
The hull is 5/8 inch Honduras Mahogany over sheer-to-sheer laminated
mahogany frames. The deck is 1/2 inch Honduras Mahogany. ERA has a
completely varnished bilge, and all fittings are handcrafted from solid
stainless steel.
It is worth noting that ERA was entirely refinished over 2007/2008 -
completely varnished top to bottom, all new leather upholstery and a brand
new engine. She is a totally unique gem in mint condition.
Another interesting point is the opening of the Victor and Hazel Carpenter
Boating Centre of Excellence at Georgian College in 2007. This technical
training facility bears Vic's name in tribute to his custom boat building
skills and beautifully crafted works of art - customers have included the
famous Gordon Lightfoot. ERA is truly a work of art by a world class boat
builder!
