Thank you, Tor.

She is a fine boat indeed. The deck is removed halfway now. Someone raised the freeboard by half a plank. The sheerline is not correct so we discussed to turn back to the original low freeboard in combination with open cockpit like Wi-wi. Do you think she once could have been a Skårgardsbåt like Glory?

Best regards
Nils

Hi Nils,

I looked up some results in KSSS 1926 (KSSS annual report for 1925) and found that Kajsa III came second (of nine) in the only race she participated in and the class was "ruffade skärgårdsbåtar" so she had definitly a cabin from the beginning.

I was also looking for her drawings at Sjöhistoriska museet but I could not find any.

Best regards,

Tor.

Hi Tor,

that is interesting. The cabin now is Laurin style with the mast sitting on top. The mast i have for her (ex S 145 Extas) is long and goes through deck and I don't want cut it. So we should keep the cabin but shorten the roof for a mast "garden"?

Thanks a lot for searching!

Nice work on Ninni!

Best regards
Nils
